Just want to have a lot of action on light tackle? If you are not the type of angler that spends hours at the fly tying vise and is satisfied with catching a few fish in a day, then the backcountry is the place for you.

The backcountry ususally offers non stop action. The fish are not all big, but even a 3 to 5 pound jack on light tackle puts most fresh water fish to shame.

Trout, snapper, lady fish, bluefish, mackerel, along with sharks and a variety of other fish, makes for a fun day.

At A1A sportfishing, we practice (catch and release), but always keep enough for dinner!
